The International Paris Air Show, which took place this last June in Paris, proved to be the most important event in the world for the aerospace sector. Also this year we were there, for the first time as exhibitors!
The numbers that we report here below, and our direct experience at the fair, demonstrate how the aerospace sector is a dynamic and constantly evolving sector:
- 2.453 exhibitors
- 48 nations represented
- 304 official delegations
- 26 pavilions
- 140 billion dollars of signed contracts
- 322.000 visitors
We exhibited together with the Cluster IR4I which we joined last year, created with the aim of promoting the capacity of Innovation and Research in a technologically advanced sectors such as Aerospace and Aeronautical.
We welcomed illustrious visitors: the Italian Prime Minister Mr. Giuseppe Conte and the Minister of Defense Ms. Trenta visited our booth and met all the companies of the Cluster, attracted by our 3 meters ring, used for the latest generation of space vectors. This proves the interest also of national political leaders for this special segment where the most advanced technologies in production are expressed and where research and development are basical.
Here’s what our Project Manager Samuele Reghellin tells us:
“First take is good!
the first time as exhibitors at the Paris Air Show has been a great success for Officine Dal Zotto! There has been a lot of interest in our company and, generally, in the whole IR4i Cluster.
The ring we exhibited aroused a lot of curiosity among those working in the high precision machining sector and, generally speaking, among all the people involved in the supply chain for this type of component.
For sure this exhibition is the world’s most important showcase for space and aeronautic and being present is the signal that Officine Dal Zotto has a consolidated experience in these sectors and also the capability and the desire to face the new challenges that come every day.
We had many contacts and meetings and we feel ready to face 2020 with excellent chances to get new contracts that will be managed with the quality and competence that usually distinguish us”.
We also thank Giornale di Vicenza for this article dedicated to us.
